The Medal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland 

On November 6, 2018, at the Dom Polski SPK in Ottawa, there was a celebratory gathering which included representatives of the Polish diaspora and Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Stanisław Karczewski. The event took place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its Independence.

During the event, Marshal Stanisław Karczewski presented Medals from the Senate of the Republic of Poland to the distinguished Polish organizations in Ottawa.

The Medal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland was also awarded to the Polish Heritage Foundation in Canada.
